Representation of severely disabled persons for the technical, administrative and scientific staff of the LIB
The Representative Body for Severely Disabled Employees is the elected representative body for severely disabled and equivalent employees at the LIB.
Our tasks:
- The Representative Body for Severely Disabled Employees works closely with the Staff Council and has the right to attend its meetings, but does not have the right to vote.
- The Representative Body for Severely Disabled Employees advises on applications (applications for determination and equal opportunities) and provides information on laws and regulations. It ensures that workplaces are equipped for the disabled in order to create the best possible working conditions.
We advise and mediate in the event of disagreements at the workplace for disability-related reasons. - At least once a year, the representative body for severely disabled employees organises a meeting for severely disabled employees and their equals.
- We are available to advise on construction measures to ensure that buildings are barrier-free.
- We support you with advice and assistance in all matters and represent your interests.
- The SBV takes part in the entire application process for applications from severely disabled persons and their equals in order to protect the rights of severely disabled applicants.
