Our infrastructure for researchers

The LIB offers researchers from its own institute and from outside a broad infrastructure. This includes modern laboratory equipment for research and collection purposes. High-performance computers and modern software for research work enable innovative studies that uncover completely new aspects of biodiversity. Libraries and knowledge collections such as the Biohistoricum collect and preserve the findings of the past. In almost all areas, scientists, doctoral candidates and students are professionally supported in their work by technical assistants.
