How do we reconcile ecology and economy? What are we doing to protect species? How and why is the institution of the museum changing? With our LIB magazine, we address the core topics of our research museum and show how relevant science is to our everyday lives.

In interviews with researchers and external experts, we provide insights into our projects and describe how our research is leading to possible solutions to the biodiversity crisis. We report on science in the field, globalisation in the animal kingdom, expeditions on the wrong track and tell how exhibitions are created and educational programmes unfold.

LIB Magazine is published every two years in printed form and is available online in German and English.
