About the collection

The Coleoptera collection in Hamburg contains at least 5,000,000 specimens of various groups. It is strong in beetle fauna of Northern Germany, but also from all around the world. The particular highlights are Curculionoidea type collection of Eduard Voss and Tenebrionidae type collection of Fritz Borchmann.
