PhD student, zmb (Centre for Molecular and Biodiversity Research)
What do you like about your job/position?
My favorite part of my job is that I always learn something new and that I am working on projects that help to better understand our environment and hopefully protect our nature in the future.
Can you please describe your tasks at the LIB?
My research focuses on the effects of agriculture on invertebrates in streams. I am interested in deciphering the effects of organic toxicants such as pesticides or increased fine sediment load on arthropod gene expression patterns and how these genetic patterns change when multiple stressors act in concert.
